It’s ’til another day… (IP)

I’m not forgetting that task I said I’d do –
I’ve left it ’til another day,
and not remembering the worries old and new –
I’ve left them ’til another day.
I’ll sleep until another day,
enjoy the break from work and play,
one day eternity will stay,
when weariness has passed away.
Let’s put away our feuds before the sun goes down,
in harmony await the day.
Let’s kneel before our Maker and our failings own,
pray grace to help along the way.
So while there still approaches yet another day
take up the reins, don’t turn astray,
but venture on through sunshine days and grey,
enjoying serving time for yet another, and another day.
[IP 19:9:14: " ..it's still another day".]

Yes I am.
I am new to the site and really enjoy everything it has to offer. To interact with such wonderful minds is such a privilege, I love all the input and interactions. I was apart of a site that wasn't nearly as well put together and it started going in a direction that I was not.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
I liked this poem very much. It reminded me of the hymn, "Just for Today"

Hello Rhiannon,
Hello Rhiannon,
Here at last and so pleased to be because I have missed reading your work and the work of others. I thought this was a very uplifting poem which left me with a warm glow. I particularly liked the sentiment expressed in the poem within and then I liked the rhythm as well as the rhyme of
'but venture on through sunshine days and grey,
enjoying serving time for yet another, and another day.'
Much enjoyed
Moya
