Self-gratifying, partying,
money flowing,
happy, carefree youth years,
no malice –

but casual, thoughtless follies
can rebound
in later years be found
or fuel rumours
and gossip guesses,
insinuations,
innuendos
to abound –

stones thrown to shame,
by those uninnocent,
accuse and blame,
to topple from self-confidence
respect and fame,
hope for admission
to crumble admiration? –

for envy or for vengeance?
or to provoke contrition,
confession,
or to enjoy humiliation
of another?
