Come on camel! –
with a ‘huh’ (an aitch),
and a tail of long time,
you’ll become
a reptile of changing colours,
and sticky long tongue.

[I had some fun with these awhile ago when wakeful at night, so I don't know whether they are fun to others or just a bit stupid!]

Sorry to say Rhiannon but the poem makes no sense at all. All I could think of is those cigarettes you know. Ok it's probably what they call "nonsense verse" like Alice's world of wonders. Oh and by the way, that's not a camel. It's a dromedary (spelling?).

Thunderstorm now, lovely, but there's no rainboows at night only in stories.

Do the rainbows appear as the storm is abating, the sunlight shining through the remaining rain?

I thought Dromedaries  were the kind of camel with one hump, and the one with two humps called something else — Bactrian, just looked it up!

sorry if the verse seems just nonsense. In a sense it it, I was just playing around with words and letters, and add a 'h' into camel, and then add 'eon' at the end (tail, long time), and the word becomes 'chameleon'. I didn't know if it would either make sense or be of any fun to anyone else!
