Think about it!

And none can tell what agony he suffered
in that agonizing crucifixion.
Yes, helped, but do not underestimate
prolonging torture, slow extinction
of life,
excruciating suffering he bore
as penetrating nails were hammered, tore
his hands and feet,
and felt the punishment accorded to our sins,
his Father’s love unfelt the while,
though He in truth still held his suffering Son.

the lamb slain
Yes Rhiannon and the moment that the Old Testament came to pass, when the sacrifice was fulfilled and the New Testament took its place was when Jesus on the Cross said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
The verse is from the KJV in the Gospel of St John.
Hope you had a wonderful Easter! Much Love & Nolan
