Why Christmas? (3)

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series, but placed in Christmas series]
So quietly he came, God of the spheres
born as a babe, true ‘Superman’ to be:
our Champion to take our place appears
God takes on human form for you and me
to take our guilt, our failure, all our sin
so that new life, eternal, can begin.
Our Substitute, our Rescuer, and he
who could explain, teach of his Father, all
that we had need to understand and see
so that we would repent, for mercy call:
Jesus the loving, gracious humble King
was scorned – few found the joy in knowing Him:
now who will seek, and find the joy in Him,
in knowing Jesus, mighty, loving King?!
Tune:10 10 10 10 10 10 Finlandia (repeat the last two lines of tune in 2nd verse)

very sincere
Very good Rhiannon all in your own words beautiful and sincere, straight the heart! A time of joy, of feast and goodwill to all men! A time to be happy and be grateful and of thanks-giving and praise!
My late father was a mechanic in the airforce he said I'm like a Deutz diesel engine in winter, you have a terrific battle getting it started but then there's no stopping it.
What my mother said of me as a child has been kept turning in my mind, When he was good he was an Angel, but when he was Bad, he Was Horrid!
Sadly.
Computers are like that too was battling whole weekend in the end it got too much basically passed out slept almost to midday. Ok now. Any way I'm at a point I can just drop it (for now!) Hope you are well and with family and friends for Christmas.
Nolan with much love, and in my thoughts! Keep well! &&
