In ‘Mother Nature’s Secret Garden’ there was a place called ‘Paradise’. It was covered in lush green growth and sparkling green trees. The sun shone gentle and warm and the breeze was pleasant and comforting. The air was filled with the song and cries of a myriad of brightly feathered birds and their song was an accompaniment to the eternal harmony and beauty of nature. This everlasting peace and tranquillity endured for all time until the dawn of the day of all days. On this day it would be decided who was ‘The Greatest’ of them all, and some said it would be the ‘Old Wise Owl’ who was the wisest of all the birds. Some said it would be the ‘Mighty Eagle’ who soared high above as ‘Lord of the Sky’. Some said it would be the ‘Keen Eyed Hawk’ who was swift on the wind and strong in the wing. Some said it should be the ‘Beautiful Peacock’ who filled all with admiration for his glorious plume of feathers. Or would it just be the ‘Tiny Robin’ who darted to and fro high above with ‘The Sparrows’. But when the answer came out it was decided that ‘The Greatest’ of them all would be the ‘Humble White Dove’ who was filled with ‘Love and Compassion’ for all of ‘Creation’. And still the beautiful birdsong endured forever through the trees and the sunshine and the wind, and their wings took to flight eternally.
