Good Morning c/o Hurricane Fiona

It’s quiet. 5 am.
I had a good sleep for the
7th night. Power still out
in our apt. A disaster they say
with thousands of trees
fallen in our Town of Truro NS.
We will survive. Why did
so many have to go down?
Still dark out at 6 am.
Got to sleep a little longer-
no lights so that means tv and
all stores-garages-shopping
malls-restaurants & most
residential streets & 1,000 acre
tourist park closed.
What to do? Emergency coffee
& sandwich spots set up.
Sky blocked by clouds.
Thank you for my life.
Back to sleep.
PS. All of Atlantic Canada
sustained massive damage
& one person died from this awful
storm of fearsome rain and wind.

I too am glad you are safe.
I too am glad you are safe. It must be hard without power when it's suddenly not there. Hope life gets back to normal soon.
Jenny.
