Good Morning in the Woods

Willows filter the wind
like hollow sticks
accepting shivers of movement

where poplar leaves tingle
to tunes of outdoor serenades
partridge shuffling feathers
in a journey through daylight.

I confess as a voyeur to outdoor
images with tales to record
eager to partner in the dance.
