A fleet of boats
are comforted by ocean’s
gentle swells

clouds among the glow
from the far side
of sun’s surrounding
dim, and hills
a backdrop for lasting
winks of sky.

In the morning
they’ll prowl as pussycats
for nets full of cod
and a reunion
of sea gulls

will arrive to proclaim
their share.

I could picture the whole scene, of the fishermen with their boats, going out in the early morning, to catch the first fish. Wonderful scene Richard. Jenny.

Merci beaucoup, Jenny. My wife's father was a lobster fisherman many years ago, and I love to recreate those kinds of moments. In this case these fishermen go after cod. All the best, Richard and Esther.
