Kelly Broke Jail

Saw the men standing
straight and tall
grim, tight-lipped
as they approached
open your trunk mister,
his shotgun riding
easy on his hip
trigger-finger at the ready
noted six other
officers nearby,
OPP engines humming
quietly, ready.
