He is cautious on the
sidewalk—
side to side. A little shaky
holding up a pole.
White it is prodding
the air before
him. Must be new to the
neighbourhood.
Not so sure
of himself as he
hesitates too often
on cement full of bumps
and cracks willing to
trip him and a conclusion
of blood left behind.
Should I help as I see
a delicate spot and I do.
