encapsulates shoreline
twisting
and shoving
through surrounding
countryside
like a bully loose in wooded
splendour
tightly bound
in a pathway
of ancient shale
precisely parallel to each other’s
bank --
like a girdle of rules.
And from all over they come
wild ones in the woods
moose and deer
squirrels and bear
partridge and eagles --
for a drink
or soak in the tumultuous
chatter of waves
rippling with songs.

Agree with Bear here, really
Agree with Bear here, really tight writing, waves rippling with song, what a great image.
