as golden in Autumn-sun
a leaf among hordes

and fire-lighting sky in
ribbons of calico.

I claim the bark from
a Shih Tzu

showing master of fate
my favourite tree.

I am like a misty wind
among whispers

my joy is to choose
freedom over life.
