Thank you so much, Sooz. I enjoy writing poems and stories, with some form of positive influence. In the past, people asked why I wrote "mushy" stuff. No problem with "mushy" I responded, since in my previous career in Social Services I encountered so much despair and sadness, I decided to focus on the happy-end-result moments. ie. I met a man who locked up his mentally handicapped ten year old son in a barn with a chain on the front door and it did not even fizz the authorities in 1967. And I met ladies who loved their children with such passion even though they owned nothing, and still managed a smile. I choose to write about the latter circumstances. Cheers. Richard LP
