Spatula

You bend, you move, just the right way

I could spread frosting with you all day

For mixing eggs and making cakes

A few quick turns is all it takes

Holding you firmly in my grip

Correcting my kids without a quip

Just the right width and very flat

I use it to make bugs go splat

I hope this does not spoil your mood

As this adds protein to all my food

new rl Murdoch I like humour of this spatula like the lines holding you firmly in my grip correcting my kids without a quip! I used to use tap wooden spoon naughty me for mine. My belated father used a potato masher as painter and a decorator for ceiling looked very good. He was navy man rules were rules julie
