Gods Garden

Written for my Nephew  who sadly took his own life a short while ago.

GOD’S GARDEN 

God looked around his garden and found an empty place

Then looking down upon the earth he saw your tired face

He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest

God's garden must be beautiful, he always takes the best

He saw that you were suffering, he knew you were in pain

He knew that you could never be, well on earth again

He saw the road was getting rough the hills were hard to climb

He closed your tired and weary eyes and whispered "Peace be thine"

Our hearts are broken now you're gone, gone but not  alone

As part of us went with you, the day God called you home
