Wishes

Wishes are for all, race colour or creed,
They are always there, whenever be the need.
Wishes are just dreams that fly into the sky,
A few we will remember, until the day we die.

Wishes bring good news that we have waited for,
And others have rebuffed us, for that evermore.
Wishes are a medium, be they false or true,
But you must be careful, they don't return on you.

We are always asking, for these wishes to activate,
And when they are granted we do really appreciate.
So you have been dreaming your precious time away,
Now stop and get on with life, and enjoy this lovely day.
