The late evening
sky-line smoulders a smoky
Parisian purple
 
outside, a night man
ambles up the wide avenue
like a cat with shoes...
 
as a harvest moon
hangs over his coat-clad shoulders
to read his musings

 I love this,but feel you repeat the same sounds from verse one to three.Feel it reduces impact. Do say if it is deliberate.
