reason is like gold,
only so much more valuable
and deeper underground
under layers of hubris,
under layers of fear and dullness,
under layers of pretention and emotion,
under layers of happenstance
the miner who would see
by the shining gold of reason
must break much rock
and sift much water

i think i liked this because it moved from the defination of 'reason' like gold.. to the practicality of the miner... in his physical task. You 'traveled'!
