on the nature of dehumanization

We often talk of the Holocaust and say never again; as though mechanized oppression and slaughter were not part of contemporary reality. But dehumanization is a cycle which causes dehumanized classes to be at once victim and animal; and ultimately whether through virus or simple interconnection and moral degradation we all fall prey to the dehumanization. These are the fruits of dystopianism.
