the T.V. sparks with
Kerouac's mad 'Beatnik' jazz
lighting the house dark

then enter the ads
hawking mad poisonous memes
hypnotizing the kids

daylight breaks. morning coffee.
enter madness, buzzing tablet
deranged Dada screams

mad 'Molloch' moths hang
about the bright light lilac tree
yet it blossoms still

Each, an individual scene. Together, a slice of life. Not easy to do. I've tried them and unsuccessful. I like the contrast of waking hope and consuming darkness that seems to bounce off the other.
