dark night

boogedy bear stares
a ragged sentinel
standing strong
against the dark night

with stark zipper scars
and fur caught with burs
a staunch veteran of the playground,
a survivor of the schoolyard

wall against the night
blocking out vision
guarding from the stray shadow
like a loyal soldier

thats my boogedy bear
