Caroline Cousins

Caroline Cousins from Clacton on Sea,
Came up to Hamilton Road to find me.
She screeched through the streets and my frequented places,
And asked all my friends and the usual faces.
Caroline Cousins was angry you see,
That I loved another but she still loved me.
A lovesick woman is best left alone,
And Caroline wrestled and weighed 14 stone.
Now Caroline charged to the flat we once shared,
Kicked in the door and rumbled upstairs.
With a slapping and cursing and pulling of hair
She grabbed hold of my flat mate cause I wasn’t there.
I’d made my escape not an hour before,
Tipped off by a friend who’d told me the score.
Sat in Queens Park with that fortunate feeling,
As Caroline Cousins was seething in Ealing.
