I’m very happy that I managed to finish all my Christmas shopping today. The London August Sales are brilliant! With my budget being what it is, I didn’t want to go anywhere near the December rush and price hike: London Christmas shop - √ Tick.

Martha had friends over tonight; by the sounds of the conversation and looking at the wine being consumed: They appeared to be commiserating in the communal depths of “Man Troubles”. As I painted my nails I sat wondering how many other hundreds of women around the world were putting their energy into “Man Troubles” tonight. Break ups, hook ups, set ups, love found, love lost, love unsure; does he love me, or does he not? Will he call, or will he not? Will he text, or will he not? Will I see him, or will I not? Then I thought about the guys I know; they would probably be having a beer and enjoying the evening as it happened. If I had the choice, I’d prefer doing the latter, even if I could only managed one beer. At least I managed to get my nails done.
