Oh, how I would love…
How I’d love to leave my life
Leave the foolish family strife
Fly up high in the clouds above
Above conditional love
How I’d love to leave it all
All the money and the power
The ridiculous human quests
That behest my poor soul’s unrest
How I’d love to be at peace
In serenity that’s given
In the awesome arms of angels
In the blissful breath of heaven
How I’d so love to be free
Unlocked from this captivity
Flying with the birds so free
In exquisite simplicity

Puts in mind of Emily
Puts in mind of Emily Dickinson, (whom I love) a light touch on a very heavy subject.
