And so they came with their tributes – world leaders, all
as did B7608 with his message to mankind, heaven 
forbid our past be our children’s future...
 
for the word to become flesh, which, in his book, 
would be the eleventh commandment...
to never a bystander be.
 
And so they came with their tributes – world leaders, all,
seventy years on, as did a man in blue-striped shirt 
and cap – spared the death camp, who outshone
each one ... him and his tears, and flowers
at the wall.
