I want a man believes me 
when I tell him
I have a headache...
 
or I’ve nothing to wear...
 
doesn’t go to my wardrobe
fling wide its door
to prove me wrong...
 
a man who takes my smalls
out of the sink – hangs
them up for me, without
snagging my tights...
 
A man doesn’t believe me
when I say I’ll never
speak to him again...doesn’t
make a thing of it
when I do.
 
Kisses my eyes
when I’m sleeping
doesn’t tell me
I’ve been snoring all night
even though I have...
 
a man who can sniff
the air and forecast rain
even before the sky
has an inkling...
 
can 'make a silk purse
out of a sow’s ear...'
proverbially speaking,
of course...
 
can free a roe-deer’s head
from between a picket fence
weeps tears of joy watching it
bound away...
 
man enough to get a man in
when doing-it-yourself
has gone , ‘Tits Up’...
 
Want a man
touches me
like one does 
the bonnet of a car
they can’t afford...
 
not now – nor
in a month of Sundays.

Hello Tina,

I recognize that fella.  So he's with you now... the treacherous swine!  Loved this Tina.  I so miss reading the work of the  authors I follow but typing is becoming more of a problem now.  Because of this, the Parkinson's show takes up so much more of  my time but I come on when I can.  I love this site so much it has made such a difference to my life.

Dear Moya, always such a bonus to hear from you, and as you can imagine, hubby and me speak of you often.  This site makes such difference to so many people's lives, and on a personal note, I know exactly where you're coming from, so to speak.

I also know exactly what you mean about the typing.  My husband too has almost given it up.  He also has enormous problems with the mouse, and a touchpad is no better either.  It is a big problem, and if I hear of any new breakthroughs with respect to this, I shall be the first to let you know.

I am so pleased, too, that you are well and truly embroiled in the Parkinson's show again this year.  So very important to improve the general public's understanding of the condition, and what better way than this.  You have such an enormous talent, and a great lady to bootsmiley
