Just a name change? The poem
Just a name change? The poem is lovely. Very moving which is why I commented twice on it. It was worth a second comment.

I like the new title. Still love the scarf flirting with the breeze memory. I might be wrong, but this feels briefer - yet even more vivid in those unfading memories.
'I recall her sister’s red scarf flirting
with the breeze
as she knelt to read the cards – treading
so carefully between the wreaths
her hands white – like hers, but not
her voice, nor her smile, nor her grey eyes
brimful of tears.' -
Beautifull painted, Tina.

The emotions come through in this writing Tina.
Allowing ourselves to keep loved ones memories alive, is something no one can understand until it happens to them, it doesn't matter how much time passes they'll always remain in our thoughts.
You mentioned about the red scarf flirting with the breeze, it's strange how those little fleeting memories can mean so much, taking us back to that moment.
A sincere piece of writing.

Hi Tina,
Hi Tina,
many thanks for your kind words. I know it's been a long time since I've been on line, but I've been writing frantically to finish Dwellers of the New World. Finally the roughly written copy is now complete, just have to get it all onto the computer now.
Everything's fine here and I hope you and yours are well too.
All the best,
Jenny.
