It was one in the morning and Renee was on the phone with her cousin.
Liz lived seven hundred miles away, so they didn't really see each other besides the yearly vacation to Florida.
"So what does he look like?" Liz questioned of Renee's boyfriend.
"Kind of like a virgin Sam Endicott, of the Bravery."
"Corrupting innocent boys again, eh?"
"Of course. There's nothing better to do. You should've seen Aiden three months ago," Renee fell back on her queen-sized four poster bed. What seemed like a million gold feather pillows supported her, "He was a huge videogamer, tee shirts and all. Kind of nerdy, too."
Liz laughed, "Maybe it's for the better then. I still feel bad for him, though."
"Don't worry. He's in good hands."
"Girl pants?"
"Yup."
"Black nail polish?"
"Mmhmm."
"Eyeliner," she asked firmly.
"Yes."
"That's so you."
"Yea," Renee picked up a picture frame from her night stand. Encased in the gold varnish was a picture of the couple smiling in the grass, "But you know what, I think I'm falling for him."
