They were drenched in rock and roll,
let the beat go on...submerged in the
juices of the crisp vibrations...spirit
moved like an old oak vintage wine,
listening to the menacing rhythms,
clashing like symbols bodies engage,
raunchy verses were crude and sharp,
but the kids weren't afraid...cause
they're groovy filled with energy...
like a drum they were hip to the beat.

I like the 'juice of crisp vibrations...' I always thought of vibrations as quite squelchy, intestinal...the feeling of mass catharsis, a willed state of abandon. Nice

I like this Jenny. It really does have quite a beat to it and you have written it well.
Very much enjoyed, and it does bring back many a memory for me too;-)

It sure was special for me, Jenny.
My boyfriend (now hubbie) and me, used to walk to Barnes, from Roehampton, which was a long way. There was a place called 'The Cellar', and it was there I heard 'She's Not There', performed by Colin Blunstone himself;-)
