Ziggy played guitar, Ziggy went so far he lost his
way, couldn't get back again.
Spiders from mars wanted him to stay. He said,
"Our love is strong, but is to young."
So he sang,
"Let's get back to Suffragette City."
but they said,
"hey man don't you be so unkind, just get back here."
He said,
"Don't lean on me man, she's so fine, she has a
white light, that's gonna drive me outta my mind.
A white heat that's gonna burn my very soul, that
white light feels so right, here she comes, here
she comes."
Time takes a cigarette, put's it in your mouth.
Your a rock n roll suicide,
the clock waits, you live too long,
Your a rock n roll suicide.
Don't let the sunlight cast a shadow.
"Oh no love your not alone, no matter how you
feel, your not alone, give me your hand cause
your wonderful.

Spiders from Mars
Hi Jenny
I never got to see David Bowie Live, but really like most of his early 1970s Ziggy playing gutiar music. I'm sure the spiders from mars still miss him. he was truly a talented musician.
My favouirte tracks songs from him include, Major Tom.,Starman, We could be heroes, and The laughing Gnome I have a best of cd of his which I frequently play during roadtrips.
Your tribute poem was really quite good.
Thanks for sharing.
