A Retired Old Gentleman

I am a retired old gentleman and I have to say,
that since I retired, there's not enough hours in
the day.
Hobbies have I many, I go to the allotment, when
its not to sunny, can't stand the heat these days,
it must be something to do with my age.
I like to go swimming and bowling too, reading
books, I also like to do.
Another hobbie of mine is building miniature models
using glue.
When the grandchildren come to stay,
they love to go up in the attic and play.
I have miniature steam engines and the tracks,
all set up on a table, I built from scratch.
When the engine pulls into the station, you hear
the announcement, "next train arriving at
platform 4, is the 10.30 that leaves for wales
porthcawl."
I love music especially classical, it is so
stirring, while I do the crossword puzzle.
I'm up at 7a.m. every day, bring the wife a cuppa
in bed, then its breakfast and then off to play.
I don't stop until I drop, then retire and into
bed I flop, still thinking of the things I have'nt
done, but when I wake up a new day's begun.
