Nostalgic wisps
of former days
as bobbing boats
flock like sheep,
photo flash left
blemish colours
happy accident
bathed in red,
many individuals
strolled this beach
felt grains of sand
beneath their feet,
Or sailed away from
Lyme Regis moorings
thirst for adventure –
a chance to escape,
Never did I notice at the time
audience of hills and trees
wrap around this ample bay
welcoming us on that breezy day.
Photos my own.

It's nice when a photo,
It's nice when a photo, though dim, and clarity probably never as clear in those days' photos, but when any photo is enough to trigger the memory and imagination to the details of feel of the sand and the views. Even to realise what you didn't notice at thet time and age or fhe scenery. Rhiannon

nostalgia
It is best to scan all the old photos right away because they lose their quality. I took some some photos in the lake district in 1983 they came out quite well. Better than yours if I may say, it was just a kodak instamatic camera as very very basic equiment.
Thanks Jennifer for the nostalic trip! & Nolan
