That first look cut me in two

My heart was beating like a metronome

Leaving me as dumb as a garden gnome

We met on a friday night

Under the disco lights

Her dancing made me swoon

I said my legs were out of tune

She laughed and kissed my cheek

Rendering me floppy and weak

I bought her a rum and coke
