Demon Drink Days

We were in another world
An era of immortality
Life was in our hands
We were shaking the trees of knowledge
Till we ran out of quotes
We drank to get drunk
Tripped the light fantastic
Sang our throats dry
We swam at midnight
We danced through dawn
And laid on the lush grass
Half naked staring at the sun
We named all our hangovers
Tornado, Burst Brain, Breeze, Thunder, Morose, Dynamite
No tears were shed
No fights ensued
It was laughter, song, dance, drink and sleep
We drank ourselves to the point
That we forgot all the memories
We promised to keep.

Naming hangovers is a great
Naming hangovers is a great idea. I wish I'd thought of it a long time ago. Sometimes one would run into the next so they'd have had to have double barrel names.
Nice poem. I enjoyed it.

The worst is
The worst is Green Mamba - pepperment liqueur. It's a Mugg's game.
