Mishappiness Tales

1.BITTERSWEET&SOUR
If you left me today
I would happily open the front door
If only to stop you slamming it
I of course wish you well
Even though I can tell
You don’t give a shit
Which is fine with me
Both of us set free
From the mundane chores
And the mini wars
That has worn away all the love
We never had.
2. LAST KISS
I remember it well
The look on your face
I could trace every line
Of dead ends
We were never lovers
Just frustrated friends
Sex was unadventurous
The mission position
Was the best we could do
As if it was a duty
No emotion no bliss
No tongues
On our last kiss.
3. CARNAL KNOWLEDGE
We were like wild animals
Tearing into each other
We tried every position we knew
Which was two
The bed screamed for mercy
As did I
We were not gymnasts
But we gave it a go
We were at it like butchers knives
And both of us agreed
It was the best 10 minutes of our lives.
4. IRISH LOVE
I met a darling
With eyes of Jewels
On a windy day at Keem Bay
The sea was troubled
The waves grew wilder
The clouds were racing
Across a simmering sky
We held hands
As we walked across the sand
We shared a few words
About the world and life
I said I could never be a husband
Although I love you
She said a wife I will never be
But I love you too
We departed as we started,
Young, curious and free.
