Like an expanding universe

 

Wooden spoon

dancing

Taps out a zestful tempo

on the silver rim

it rests on

 

Mrs. Xu

chopping

Here she shows her love

Lost in meditative concern

amid the wisps of steam

yeh agree with the above, love the sparseness and the images transferred through so few words - but such beautifully pretty word combinations - zestful tempo, opaque depth, expanding universe. comes together wonderfully, lovely poem :-)
