Memberwhen the sun shone fourteen hours a day
Memberwhen the daisies grew waist high
Memberwhen our time was a time
Of gentle kisses and sweet reminisces
Memberwhen we knew we were forever

Forever didn’t last, my love
Forever didn’t stay
Forever came with long brown legs
And carried you away

Memberwhen you had scabby knees and wore short pants
Memberwhen you kept me safe, you were my hero
Memberwhen our world was a world
Of shy timid touch
Of wanting too much
Memberwhen we knew we were forever

Forever wasn’t long, my love
Forever didn’t know
Forever came with big doe eyes
And I was the last to know

Memberwhen we splashed in the sea at midnight
Memberwhen we watched the dolphins leap
Member when our place was a place
Of first body moulding
And youthful holding
Memberwhen we knew we were forever

Forever wasn’t long, my love
Forever was too short
Forever came with soft golden hair
And took you without a thought

Forever was held in an eye blink
Forever was naught but a dream
Now forever will stretch for forever
And forever is what might have been.

Thank you Moya. I've been re-vamping a lot of old stuff lately, revisiting the past and trying to bring terrible writing up to scratch. I say that I've come on a lot in the last ten years, but I think I've only grown academically with the nuts and bolts, I don't think my ideas are nay better now than they were back then. I really need to get back to Katie, and poor Sammy, who has really been abandoned, but I just can't be bothered. I'm glad you like this, thank you.
