This can’t be Kansas.
Bound by gravity still,
Blown moonward this night,
I want to tell you first,
If only by lamplight,
What planets rule your orbit,
Where vengeance fails to go,
And you can read the weightless words
which boundlessly seem to flow.
Love is a forgotten doorway
at the end of a forgotten lane.
May you come to it
as the words begin to wane…
Joy opens to an emerald field,
Sunlight floods a yellow brick road.
