The exhaustion of apathy

But I can tell you I have felt it

And none of which you reach are happiness

It is a sorrow unlike any other

Not a sadness, but an emptiness in your soul

A place where pain is welcomed as a guest

As you would rather host pain than nihility

I know you're feeling all alone in this world 

I've walked in those shoes 

When you just want to be held

But you don't have the person you want to hold you

Know you are never alone.

Your wounds will stop bleeding and heal as scars

Be it on your skin or heart, they will become memories

Stationary figments growing ever distant as you move forward

They become places you can choose to visit instead of places that follow you
