EXT. STREET
Fade in.
Music plays.
A police officer walks on the pavement, towards us. He nods and greets passers by. Respected member of the community. Something catches his eye.
Cut to: a man and a teenager chatting on the other side of the road, next to a cashpoint in a slightly hidden area. They quickly exchange money and drugs, and move their separate ways.
Cut to: Police officer. He looks alarmed.
Officer darts across the road and follows the man who is walking away, unaware of him. Officer grabs him by the jacket and drags him with force in the same direction. He drags him round a corner into a car park and throws him against a police car.
Music stops.
MAN: (Holds hands up) Alright, alright. It was a one off, I haven’t sold anything else I swear…!
Pause.
Cut to: The officer looks at him with a sense of urgency.
Cut to: The man looks confused.
Officer suddenly slams the man against the car. He cries out. Officer fumbles around in his back pocket.
MAN: Please… honestly-
Interrupted. Officer pulls out a twenty pound note.
Cut to: Officer. Doesn’t say a word. Still a sense of urgency about his expression and a small nod of understanding.
Cut to: Man is puzzled.
He takes the twenty and gives the man a cling filmed eighth. Officer is infatuated. Man slowly walks away. Officer climbs in his car eagerly.
Fade to black.
