Rachel Eckermann entered the nightclub and found Claire and they danced together. They made a good pair but Rachel felt a bit nervous for some reason. She wondered if she had flossed her teeth. The Japanese will be brutal, Gabriel had said. Should she trust Gabriel though? He didn't know everything and often he misstated facts. Perhaps that was due to his drinking, but most likely to his laziness. His Anti-Semitism was typical. He felt the influence of the Jews too much and he fought back against it.
