The stars fell down from the sky, blazing. They landed on champagne glasses. Claire Kim drank her champagne slowly, looking around at the guests of the party. "Have we met before?" Gabriel asked her. Yes, they had met before. Claire was Gabriel's protege. Claire regretted this. Gabriel was a moral-less person. He was also less intelligent than she was. Claire was a genius. "Do you ever stop?" "I can resist anything but temptation," Gabriel responded. "Are you looking for sex?" she asked. "Sex is an overrated sport. I prefer exercise." Claire walked away. She wanted to walk over to Percy and speak to him but something stopped her. She envied his blonde hair and blue eyes. She had red streaks in her hair. She began to walk over to Percy. She could feel the light of the chandeliers over her. The walls were very white. "Percy, are we in the same cell?" She took a gulp of her champagne. "No," Percy responded, smiling. Claire forced a smile. Claire was the chief strategist for cell 101, the most secretive cell in the CIA. She, Rachel Eckermann, and Deborah Smiley were the only members. She did not know why she asked Percy if he was a member. Deborah soon joined. "You look stunning, Claire." Claire looked into the eyes of Deborah. She saw absolutely nothing. She revealed nothing. She took another gulp of champagne. She looked over at Gabriel's group. Some very beautiful women had surrounded him and they were all laughing very happily. "How does he do it?" Deborah asked. "I don't know," responded Claire. "There's a rumor that he is the head of a satanic cult." Claire looked at Gabriel and did not understand people's fascination with him. "I heard that he was the head of the Freemasons," Rachel blurted. "Freemasons don't have a head," responded Claire. Rachel took a gulp of champagne and walked over to Gabriel. They let her in. "Rachel, do you suppose that we are only emanations of divinely superfluous God?" Gabriel asked. "I suppose you are right if only dark is light,' Rachel responded. Gabriel smiled, "Are you the Messiah?" "No." "Death frightens you." "Rachel, you must understand something. You are in great danger." "Why?" "You know too much." "Why in danger and out of sight?" Gabriel kindly asked the women to leave. "Why are you pressing so hard on reality? Things are what they are. Do you think you can improve on God's creation?" "No." "Then stop asking questions." "Can I ask a few questions?" "Sure." "Is God Alive in the Universe or Outside the Universe?" "How can there be anyone outside of the Universe? Outside of the Universe is Inside of the Universe. Any space or time is the Universe." "But God created Space and Time?" "Where was God when he created space? Any space is fixed in time." "So you are a Pantheist. The Universe is God." "How do you know that the Universe is not alive? Does the Universe have an unconscious, a collective unconscious? Is the Universe dreaming you or are you dreaming the Universe?" "You don't have any answers then." "No, enjoy your friends. Cultivate your soul." "Gabriel, are you Satan?" "What do you mean by that?" "I don't know. You asked me if I was the Messiah." "Suppose I am the Buddha and the Buddha is only the Buddha when he is fully illuminated... when the Buddha goes into a rock and roll culture, he becomes Dionysius. The Buddha in Jewish culture becomes something else... There are really no absolutes but our minds and that is because the mind wants to control things. It's only by controlling things our mind does not recede into its natural state which is schizophenia." "Thank you for answering something for once. Why did you ask me if I was the Messiah?" "Death Wish."
