He left a footprint in a box
Hidden in the shadow of her house

She carved question marks on all the trees
And wrote her name on all the leaves

She tried to understand

He was trying to forget

A great little piece this, Sunshine. I really like it a lot. I particularly like: "She carved question marks on all the trees, And wrote her name on all the leaves" Isn't it always the way - as soon as the man loses interest, the women wants to know him better.
