The cat

human are such funny things

I watch them all the time 

they think that I am just there 

laying on their bed 

but we are more intelligent

then they think 

we  train them very well 

they soon get fed up with our meows

when we want feeding 

we meow as loud as can be 

when we don't want them 

we stick our tails in the air 

and go and lay somewhere

oh as for our hair brush me 

i demand

make me purr

when you stroke me 

and don't stop 

oh wait a sec how dare you stop 

and stick my tail in the air

and give you such a stare

oh and one more thing 

i sleep where i want to 

even if  its on clear washing

its not easy being a cat 

i demand a bed 

so  can rest my head 

bring me fish 

or a mouse or two 

oh this is the life 

for me
