She turn the key in the door
like she did so many years before
but this time it was diff rent
she knew what was there before
but now she did not know
what she would find there
As she walk and shouted hello
to the air she could feel the ghosts from the past
everywhere she look
she could feel
what had been there before
but she knew
again
she had to call out to the air and say stop haunted her inside her mind
is it good going back
to a place where you lost your heart. And mind
one step back and it's like. Yesterday
you remember the things. You Said and did way back then
oh ghosts have to be put to bed
oh the place was so enmity and quite
it was time to move and
clear it out
and
So she sat on a box
full of things she had not see in years
she look at the window and remember the sound of people voices
Filling the air
happy time back then
she knew it would still be here
and there be more happy smile
She took one last look
And a tear came in her eye
and she knew it was goodbye
is it good to go back and get haunted by the past
we all have ghost that fill our minds
but sometimes you. Have to go back and face the fear and put your ghosts to bed
for the last time

This is so hauntingly
This is so hauntingly beautiful.
I'm sat watching Joni Mitchell's life and music as I read this poem and could imagine your words set to music.
Very moving and thank you so much for sharing.
Happy smiles from me.
Jenny.
