Roses in my garden

pink and blue and red and green

are the roses in my garden 

some are small and some are big 

are the roses in my garden 

some smell of summer mist 

some make you want to kiss 

some smell take you to a heavenly place 

and a beautiful sight 

are the roses in my garden 

in the heat of the summer day

butterfly flying around 

the roses in my garden 

bees buzz by 

and some land on them 

on the roses in my garden 

it is so perfect 

just to watch them sway 

in the sofa summer breeze 

on a sunny day 

bring joy to my eyes

and make me feel so alive 

if there is one thing i say 

that makes me want to sing
