Star

there is a new beautiful  star tonight

lighting up the night sky 

and as I look at it 

I feel tears running down  my cheeks

life can be so cruel and loving

there say the price for love is loss

and as I stand here   feeling like the most lonely person in the world

what can I say 

i could say you were the greatest in the world 

i could say i miss your smile 

i could say a million things 

but that would say or not say 

how i feel about you 

the bloody world keeps spinning

i know I should not swear but 

i don't care right here and now 

with the way, i feel right now
