yeah yeah

oh what a mix-up day this has been 

as I sit here on my sofa and wonder why 

oh hell I just look at the window and watch life go by 

but then again I could just lay back and close my eyes but that gets nothing done

oh there the sun shining in my room again 

not making it feels so dark 

yeah yeah 

and I sit here  thinking about  playing with my hands 

i hear the new baby birds in the nest 

i think life is not so bad I forget about the rest 

oh time to move my bum and look at the book on the side 

there slowly sliding to one side

i could just stand here and watch them fall 

oh wait there's a phone call 

from someone trying to sell me something i don't want

i put the phone down as I say bye

oh what crazy life this is 

i can't be bothered with it all 

so back on the sofa, i got 

 my iPad in hand

i can't find anything to watch 

oh what a sad and sorry state my mind has become

oh and now it starts to rain 

and the sky look grey 

i think i just 

grab a blanket  and fall to sleep 

and hope i dream about that 

i am on some tropical beach

hearing the sound of the waves

and dream my life anyway 

oh no i am not going to  move today
