A moment caught

A moment caught in time
Soft whirls paused in their motion
small pebbles halted mid tumble
Silence in the forest

a woman crosses the stream
stepping lighly over floating leaves
suspended in flight of falling

She walks on and looks back
at the edge of the clearing shes gone

The water rushes on
